I started smoking when I was 8 I am now 56. I have tried to quit a lot times and have always started back up. I have tried the patch, the pills and the gum to quit and the last time it only worked for three months and then I went back to cigarettes. I was up to two packs a day when I tried vaping back in November of 2014. At first I didn't think it was going to work because I had to wait for my vape to charge and my nicotine level was at 18mg. When I bought a better vape, (so I had two of them) and kick up my nicotine level up to 30mg, I was able to walk away from cigarettes for good, for the first time in my life. This is true even after having a collapsed Lung at age 23. I have not even had a desire to pick up a cigarette, in fact the smell of a cigarettes makes sick now. Now I think about the over 9,000 chemicals in cigarettes and the fact that E-juices have 4 to 5 chemicals, it’s no brainer which one is better for me. I have been trying to get the guys I work with to switch to vape life, they all comment that they like the smell of my vapes; it’s great to wake up in the morning with more energy and no bad taste in month. All my food tastes better and I don't smell like ashtray. I don't get sick as often as I use too. I still am vaping but my nicotine level is now 6 to a 3 sometimes 0 depends on the day. I do not planning on ever stopping vaping, I love it and my wife likes it and she a nonsmoker. My wife was the one that really got me to start vaping, when she said I do it the house. We have asthmatic family member so all cigarette smoking was outside of the house. That’s all it took, there is no negatives to this. I got into the business because I believe in the industry. I still vape a lot, but if you love it and believe in it, what you are doing, you need to support then industry.
We need to tell everyone that all the rumors and negatives that they have been hearing are wrong. We need to get our stories out on how it is helping us quit cigarettes. If we blast the all media with our true stories, it will help to change the public opinion of e-cigarettes and vapors.
